SWEDISH RUTABAGAS

Ingredients

2 medium rutabagas
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon butter

 Instructions


Peel rutabaga, quarter and cut into 1/4 inch slices.  Cook according to directions in basic recipe.  Drain.  Add remaining ingredients and gently stir over low heat until sugar melts, about 2 to 3 minutes. 

Season and serve with butter.
